Brief
Hatfield Medical Group (HMG) is a second-generation primary care group located in Arizona. The practice was founded by the father of the current managing physicians – David Hatfield and Scott Hatfield. To take their practice to the next level, the Hatfield’s recently made a strategic decision to lean all in with value-based care. In doing so, they knew they would be trailblazers and it would be risky. They also know they needed a partner who could provide a unique mix of technology, healthcare and analytics expertise and support. They leaned into the Focus Solutions team as their partner.
Deliverables
Creating a solid technology infrastructure as a foundation for this care-approach shift was critical to HMG. System failure and down time would not be acceptable in their new environment. Focus Solutions designed, led, and executed the rebuild of their data center. This included migrating to Microsoft Azure and completely overhauling their network using next generation Cisco Meraki equipment. The result is a technology infrastructure and analytics environment that can scale tremendously. Following the infrastructure overhaul, Focus continues to assist HMG with critical workflow management and leveraging cutting-edge business intelligence (BI) and interoperability solutions. The combination of these efforts has driven meaningful, timely information to providers and care teams at point-of-care… leading to better patient experiences and financial results.
